Dorset Buttons

Tania brought some antique Dorset buttons with her to the interview. These show the original conical shape of the buttons, as well as some examples made using a linen covering. Each of these buttons is only about 1 cm wide.
Some examples of modern Dorset buttons, ranging from 1-3 inches in diameter. They are typically made using small amounts of yarn and a metal ring, but may also incorporate beads and other embellishments. These are often used as buttons on sweaters, but may also be used as jewelry, ornaments, embellishments, and more.
